Campa will return to the backhand position and team up with Jon Sanz.Women's Circuit: notable changesUnlike the men's Circuit, there was no snowball effect on the women's side of things when two top pairs announced their separation.Delfi Brea and Tamara Icardo, who won two events alongside each other in 2021, called it a day after the Santander Open, the event they won last season.Shortly after, former number ones Lucía Sainz and Marta Marrero too put a period behind their year-long partnership. As often happens, the two couples have decided to mix for the remainder of the 2022 season: Brea with Marrero, Sainz with Icardo.Brea and Marrero will form the sixth seed, while Sainz and Icardo will be the eighth-ranked couple.
