Friday saw the Human French Padel Open 2022 quarter-finals take place at the Palais des Sports André Brouat in Toulouse.

There was plenty of drama on show as one of the favourites for the tournament was knocked out while several three-setters were disputed as well.

Salazar/Triay (1) vs Alayeto/Alayeto (8)

First on the menu at centre court was the match between reigning number ones Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay and four-time number ones Mapi and Majo Sánchez Alayeto.

Sainz/Marrero (5) vs Icardo/Brea (6)

Two more former number ones took to court 2, meanwhile, as Lucía Sainz and Marta Marrero eyed another semi-final against the in-form Tamara Icardo and Delfi Brea.

Ortega/González (3) vs Osoro/Iglesias (7)

Three-seed Marta Ortega played the second and final match on court 2 on Friday, taking on Aranza Osoro and Victoria Iglesias for a spot in the semis.

Josemaría/Sánchez (2) vs Las Heras/Virseda

Finally, centre court saw another epic duel as two-seed Paula Josemaría and Ariana Sánchez faced 2022's break-out pairing of Bárbara Las Heras and Verónica Virseda.

Lebrón/Galán (1) vs Capra/Sánchez (7)

In the men's draw, number ones Juan Lebrón and Alejandro Galán were in action on centre court as they faced Argentinians Lucho Capra and Maxi Sánchez.

Gutiérrez/Tapia (3) vs Coello/Belasteguín (8)

Old friends stepped onto centre court next as Sanyo Gutiérrez and Agustín Tapia played against eight-seed Arturo Coello and Fernando Belasteguín.

Chingotto/Tello (4) vs Lima/Stupaczuk (5)

A direct fight for the four-seed saw Federico Chingotto and Juan Tello take on the young partnership of Pablo Lima and Franco Stupaczuk.

Di Nenno/Navarro (2) vs Ruiz/González (6)

Finally, two-seed Martín Di Nenno and Paquito Navarro looked to make another semi-final against Alejandro Ruiz and Momo González.
