Belluati and Silingo come back to hand Bela and Coello shock defeat in Malmö

Argentinians Juan Cruz Belluati and Agustin Gomez Silingo have caused the biggest shock of the Areco Malmo Padel Open 2022 so far as they eliminated three-seed Arturo Coello and Fernando Belasteguin.

Coello and Bela had made six consecutive semi-finals before Thursday, including three straight finals and two titles, but were beaten in three sets at the Malmö Arena.

Two-seed Agustin Tapia and Sanyo Gutierrez were also taken to three sets, but emerged victorious as they continue to look to regain their form from earlier this season.
