Alonso/Patiniotis VS Capra/DíazThe morning session got underway with Peter Alonso - Aris Patiniotis vs Lucho Capra - Godo Díaz.Since Patiniotis and Alonso started playing toegether, they've proved that they can make life difficult for the best pairings in the world and that it's always going to be an all-out scrap. That's exactly how the first set went down. Lucho and Godo won the first set by the finest of margins 6-4.In the second set, the Argentine pairing pulled away early on with a break to lead 3-1. They grew in confidence with a second break to close out the set and the match 6-2. Godo Diaz and Lucho Capra are in the last sixteen.Lijó/Lahoz VS Marina/ConcepciónOn court two at the Estadio Nacional, there was a fascinating match between two pairings on the up: Mati Marina and Javier Concepción versus Pablo Lijó and Willy Lahoz.Marina and Concepcion were stronger at the start and took a 4-1 lead. They dismantled their opponents completely to win 6-2 in just over 30 minutes. The wizard Lahoz and his partner Lijó had to react and broke early in the second set to lead 2-0. That was the push that turned the tide on the match. From that moment onwards Lijó's powerful strokes and Lahoz's classy touch led a comeback in the second and third set, winning both 6-3. Pablo Lijó and Willy Lahoz will be in the next round.Bela/Lima VS Botello/RuizCentre court was ready for the number ones. Fernando Belasteguín and Pablo Lima against Uri Bolleto and Javi Ruiz.Bela and Lima took a while to adapt to the court and their opponents made the most of it to try and introduce some doubts into their game. With the score at 4-3, the Argentine and the Brazilian struck a decisive blow to win the first set 6-3.The second set followed a similar pattern. With the score extremely tight, a break in twelfth game would be definitive as the number one seeds won 7-5. Bela and Lima reach the last sixteen.Nerone/Ruiz VS Fuster/MuñozThe morning session ended on court two with Seba Nerone and Álex Ruiz taking on Christian Fuster and Jordi Muñoz.Fuster and Muñoz were playing together for the first time and taking on a well-established pairing in Nerone and Ruiz.
