All to one!

Alejandro Galán and Juan Lebrón reached their first final in five events in Cascais on Saturday with a straight sets win over Maxi Sánchez and Lucho Capra.

The world’s leading pair made light work of dangerous opponents in the end coming through 6-4, 6-1. But they had to fight hard in the first set saving nine break points, before adopting a tactic of pressurizing Maxi specifically on his serve to get the crucial break in the tenth game.

The second set was disrupted after the third game with a call for the doctor for Maxi, who complained of feeling dizziness on the court, and when the match did resume he never recovered his form of the first set. From there Galan and Lebrón marched quickly into Sunday’s final, winning the last four games, where they will meet another Argentine pair in Federico Chingotto and Juan Tello.
