The last match of the day was a World Padel Tour classic. Miguel Lamperti - Juani Mieres vs Fernando Belasteguín - Pablo Lima. Bela was on the back of an injury that forced him to withdraw from the Estrella Damm Zaragoza Open and wore protection on his right elbow. The start to the match was very tight but Belasteguin and Lima were a little bit more efficient. In the blink of an eye, Bela and Lima had grabbed the first set 6-3.
Lamperti and Mieres came out trying to force a third set. Juani was solid at the net and Lamperti was playing a perfect match from a tactical point of view. The duo from Bahia Blanca cancelled out Bela and Lima and broke to serve it out and win 6-3.
A nail-biting third set ensued. Miguel and Juani had another chance of knocking out the world number one pairing and everyone remembered the 2017 Granada Open. The pairing from Bahia Blanca started the set as they finished the previous one and grabbed another break. They took their third match point to knock out Pablo and Fernando and finally grab a win against the world number one pairing.
