A neverending run. The twins win their seventh consecutive title in Andorra

The final of the Vallbanc Andorra Open went to prove once again Majo and Mapi Sánchez Alayeo's great moment of form. Once again, they were up against the world number two pairing in the final, Cata Tenorio and Marta MarreroIt was the fourth time these two teams clashed in the final round of an event for the title. The final in Andorra had the same script as their previous meetings. In the first set, the twins broke in the third game and Marta and Cata couldn't cut back this disadvantage. Majo's excellent control on her lobs and net play were enough to lead the twins to win 6-4 in just 29 minutes. The world number on pairing showed no weak points and cancelled out all of Marrero and Tenorio's strengths. Their pace on the ball, their few unforced errors and their power got the job done in the second set. Marrero and Tenorio only resisted for one game. After 1-1, there was only one pairing on the court, the Sanchez Alayeto twins dominated the scene and won 6-1 in just an hour and ten minutes. The players coached by Jorge Martinez prolonged their streak which hails from April and has taken them to conquer seven consecutive titles and win 29 matches on the bounce. The best version of this pairing came out to play in Andorra, as they extend their lead at the top of the rankings.
